‘Quiete’ depicts a calm face emerging from a dense and irregular field of colour.
The expression remains composed, while the surrounding composition appears more fragmented and unstable.
The title, which translates as “stillness” or “quiet”, refers to the possibility of finding a sense of calm within visual and emotional disorder.
